Description
バトルオブブリテンで、自軍の戦闘機の航続距離に苦慮したドイツ空軍は、航続距離性能に秀でた日本のゼロ戦を評価するため、その空輸を日本海軍に要請した。
3名の精鋭パイロットが選ばれた。
このミッションは公式には記録されていない。公式な記録がないため、彼らが到着したのか不明である。
次のような噂が海軍内で囁かれていた。パイロットのうち一人は、
帝国海軍にはいないとされた女性であり、彼女は美人であったと。
Luftwaffe which racked its brains about the flying range of the fighter of the ally in battle of Britain requested the Japanese Navy for the air transportation to evaluate the Japanese Zero fighter which excelled in flying range performance.
Three best pilot was chosen.
This mission was not recorded formally. the name of pilots, too.
Because there is not an official record, it is unknown whether they arrived at Germany.
The following rumors were whispered in the navy.
One pilot was a woman told that there was not in the Great Japanese Empire navy.and she was young and beautiful.

Excellent "propaganda" photo, though what would Herr Goebbels have thought of this... its hard to imagine the Nazi's admitting that they needed advice. So no wonder they hushed it up! Now, if the nazis had just got around to finishing an aircraft carrier, the IJN would have been able to teach them a thing or two about that too.
