Back to Iain's WIP- I didn't like the eyes as they were, so I went out with a camera to find what I was looking for. The Heterochromia is a medical condition that has the eye coloring come out in that strange way-which, for me, is all too tempting to use! My spec maps are almost finished and used here as well as M4 Disp. maps. The blue had "Glowy" whites, so I fixed that on the other two. Crits, ideas? XD

I have to admit that the Heterochromia eyes are very cool looking as well Excellent work on all three sets of eyes

OK...the irises are nice, but the whites need a proper texture. They're still glowing, here. Edge blends and such for them, as well as some veins and all, to go with the realistic style of the skin. But you probably knew that. :)

I just looked this up on google.. very facinating. I think it can be quite amazing. Nfredman is right about the whites.. Eyewhites are never truly white, have a lot of grayish tones and blood vessels too. Great work so far, though!

The whites are giving me massive issues-the textures for them have veins and reddened areas that never show the way I want them. There is a little vein-work in the eyes here that you can see, and the blue eyes were the set that I rendered first before darkening the diffuse color for the top two. That helped the glow a bit, but I'm still pulling what hair I have left out of my head trying to tweak this to where I want it. No, not bald-I chopped it all off not too long ago. ;) I'll look into the edge blend thing-did a little research this morning so...hopefully I'll be posting more WIP's. For now? Must get ready for work. Time to trudge, soldier on, and hopefully keep my sanity. >.> Or what's left of it. Snirk Thank you, all of you!
