Description
Cefalu is dwarfed in the distance from the top of LaRocca a huge monolithic mount from the ruins of a long gone castle now taken over by beautiful Mediterranean plants and an overriding scent of Oregano. The ruins are believed to be of Byzantine origin.

Aha! I said it looked like a good place for a fortress. Nailed it! Ever notice they never build the walls AROUND the village? Wonderful shot of the flora and the village in the distance. I love the color of the water.
