When I was there in september, they were working on it.

Fascinating structure. MOst beautiful portrait, too. And for those affected by the tornadoes, this looks like the kind of building they should have constructed for their homes...looks like it could handle some pretty adverse storms.

This church is a beautiful building. A fascinating picture, and very appropriate, going with your sympathetic words. Indeed it may always remain faith and hope.

What a remarkable building and it looks even better against that azure-blue sky, I wouldn't mind entering this place to check the interior architecture, just out of curiosity of the construction, as I'm not religious. It seems like a modern twist to the old Adobe style, Magnificent, BB

A well captured church, my friend. It looks quite solid and stable However it does look more like a Moroccan or Algerian building than something I would have expected from the Old South West. I echo your sentiments about tornadoes and faith. My son was working in a summer camp in the mid west in June and July of 2011, and got chased twice by tornadoes. Due to an exam resit he flew home to Scotland the day before 9/11, having been staying with relations in New York City, who worked at the Twin Towers. Thanks for your kind comments and for posting these jewels on Renderosity, Bob. If I may, I would like to echo a prayer by the Lutheran abbess, Mother Basilea Schlink: "God in His almighty love, always has exactly as much strength and aid prepared for you as you need". Warm regards, from a damp, clammy Glasgow, John.

Beautiful church and capture! I like the pure strong white of the statue, doorway, crosses and trim. It shows up beautifully against walls, like the white of the clouds shows up against the sky. Excellent POV, and colors.
