MAY
TIS THE MERRY MONTH OF MAY and what a month it was. Earth survived another prophecy of DOOM’S DAY, Mommie Dearests had their family festival of flowers and here at doarte’s MADHOUS MIDWAY we’re greeting springtime with blossoms, buds and blooms … and an annual affair where marvelous maidens from the staff model their personal creations of “haute couture” (That’ Budget Busting Gowns Guys!) … all for a great cause … a fund raiser for beautiful bouquets for lonely souls who have no one to remember they’re alive.
Everybody here’s involved: roses from out rooftop gardens line the runways, set designers make special real and abstract floral backdrops to set the stage for every gown. We even give freebie feasts to both dieters and indulgers. SO …
If you’ve had enough of horrid headlines and fearful forecasts, come join all us doartes in a sweet salute to smiles.

Yes, Wayne, I for one am weary of doom-and-gloom, not to mention gloomy winter and spring weather. As always, you offer the perfect pick-me-up and smile inducer. Think I'll go and select my haute couture and stop to smell the fabulous flowers. I love the touch of magic escaping her hand. :)
