Description

the DFW area got hit in places with grapefruit size hail that went right over the airport.at my house it hailed close to golf ball size hail.there were reports of several tornadoes, but I got here was 70 MPH winds.after day lite I will check my house for damage. I went to my garage to try and get a picture of the hail on my patio, but the rain was too intense.both my dogs got out of their houses afraid and wanted to come inside.I was not going to get hit by hail to open the gate I took this picture prior to the storm hitting my heart goes out to all the people in Joplin and Tennessee,Georgia

These storms sure can wreck havoc, but to me they are always beautiful in their own way. I was given a terribly rotten time back when Katrina hit because my name was Rainastorm. Like storms are the worlds only source of death and destruction. Oh well, not all storms are death dealing and I do love watching them. Beautiful capture Richard!!

It's so bad for the people who make them have as much loss to them. But this picture is great. I hope your house is still okay.
