Description

Every wondered why the water in you kitchen sink does not want to drain? Check - it might be a Leopard toad in the pipe. That is what I found when I investigated the slow trickle - out popped the blockage. Needless to say I rescued him and made sure that no more can get stuck in the same place. Clive

Now you've got me wondering about Cape Town plumbing! Our kitchen sink drains to the storm drain. Once it goes down that little hole at the bottom of the sink, it's never seen again. We have pipes that drain the water off the roof (that's because it rains here a lot) but in general, no toads live in there. Hmmm ... this is fascinating!
