Description
Another shot along California highway #1. Very typical of early June - bright sunshine with a fog bank lurking just off shore. In a matter of minutes this little cove could have been engulfed in fog.

Fine photo...I learned to fly out of Monterey, CA...would go out with good visibility in all directions and return with only the east end of the east-west runway open. Very interesting for a student pilot:)

We didn't go on Hwy 1 with the motorhome ... 53 feet of RV and tow bar and car just isn't the thing down there! (101 was bad enough.) It's nice to see this ... wonderful image!

what a selected place with a grandiose view. in big view a bit disturbing the light halo around the edge of the hills to the sky, and you could maybe straighten the picture according to the cloud line as the horizon is not clearly visible here.

The horizon is perfect as it is. The bottom of the cloud bank is effectively your horizon as it's what draws your eye in. If you straitened to the cloud line it would look crooked. Straitening to the cloud line will only serve to make your horizon appear to be dropping off to the right. And personally I'm not disturbed one bit by a halo around the edge of the hills. Great photo.
