The picture of it is stunning. But what happened, not of course!

Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Excellent capture of this burnt area. Actually fire is a natural way of renewing forests. We have areas around here that were burnt quite badly but in a few years the growth is thicker than ever. The animals that are dislodged and rooted out of thier homes are difficult to not feel bad for though.

een surrealistisch maar triest beeld, wetend dat het waarschijnlijk is aangestoken, a surreal but sad picture, great pic! RS

A sad sight but you captured the scene well. I hate seeing things like this and thinking about the animals that are displaced or killed. Hopefully rebirth will come soon.

It is so sad when fire goes through a natural reserve it makes such a mess. I do hope you will feel better soon.

Hope you are feeling better Juliette! Sad the destruction of fire, but afterwards, in time, you will find lots of new life. Excellent pic! (:

Often fire is a natural way of renewal .. but it's till very disturbing. One thinks of all the creatures that died and that were displaced .. it's so sad, regardless of it's a natural event, or deliberately set fire.
