Description

Great Blue Heron and her three chicks in the Wakodahatchee Wetlands Preserve. It is 15 days after the previous post. All three of the chicks were gone the last time that I went back to check on this nest. Thanks for stopping by my gallery, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. Impressive to no end. They're such elegant birds and to see this shot is quite amazing, really. I love the colors, especially since I've never actually seen one of these live and up close. I've seen the white ones and the dingy ones, but never the blue ones. This is really superb.
