Mickey, this is a superb dedi to your friend. The South African plant is amazing, and I have never seen one like it before. You are right, it is incredible how the large pod is supported by such a small vine

I can not keep them in the open air - but is growing at my window one too. Wonderful plants - they do not need Flies - Cocoa will also do and then they huge! LOL Nice shot and dedi!

I've never seen this flower before either. Beautiful shape. I love the curve where the vine meets the blossom. Huge flowers which look even more so against the tiny white flowers. If they could talk, what would they say about their giant roommates? Excellent capture and dedication!
