Description
This is a photo Painting. I used Photoshop CS5 and Corel Painter 11 to complete it. This time I took my sweet time and decided to use a very fine brush of 2.9 pixels in size to paint each hair. I may be crazy, but I think spending 2 days on this paid off with good results. I'm happy with it anyway.

Kittens (and adult cats) are amazing, elegant, hilarious creatures and the one on the right is proving my theory that they zap all viewers with focused, psychologically-interactive "cute beams" which also means that the one on the right is up to something and distracting you with his/her good looks just to keep you from noticing the small bit of something edible that's about to be stolen and dragged under the sofa for later consumption. Cats. I know them quite well, and you've captured their essence perfectly. The work you've put into this has certainly paid off. Marvelous.

I know they're cute, but can't help chuckling at their guileless expressions, Sharilyn. And you spent two days painting each teeny hair on the kitties? Talk about a labor of love. I wonder if they're aware of the effort and time you put into this. But it did pay off in the end.
