Yes, I thought by showing the entire mountain, it would show depth and make the viewer appreciate the beauty of the sculpture and nature

Hey I think I can see Cary Grant giving Eva Marie Saint a kiss on George's nose! Actually, none of ‘North by Northwest’ was actually filmed at the site? The U.S. Park Service wouldn’t let Hitchcock and his crew anywhere near the faces, so they dummied up the parts they had to and filmed the rest of the scenes in nearby woods.

What a shot! I rarely get to see the rest of the mountain and seeing it here gives those giant, stone heads a bit more context. This is a really super shot.
