Hello everyone! This is Shawn.
My art style begins with an exaggerated subject which I then slowly refine into something approaching a more realistic scene. Out of all the modeling programs I have:
Hexagon 1.21 is the main one I model with.
I use 3DCoat for UV mapping and some occasional spray painting.
I use Carrara Pro for illustrations.
For photo-real rendering, I use either modo or Vue Infinite.
CG has been a hobby for me since 1983. I started on the TIMEX Sinclair 2068 using VU-3D. Then with Windows 3.11, I got hooked on Vista Pro. Windows 95 found me using Bryce 2, Poser 2, then Ray Dream Designer 3. And so on, and so on. I enjoy viewing other artists work here on Renderosity and am inspired by them.

There are "nexus points" in time when history could have taken a radically different course. The Norman invasion of 1066 was one, and at random I would pick Gettysburg, where one officer's dream the night before the battle won it for the Federals and ultimately defeated the Confederacy. WW2 in Europe could have gone either way several times, as with the Luftwaffe general who was in the process of having a long-range bomber equivalent to our B-17 developed and into production ... but was killed in a plane crash and thus, a few years later, the Battle of Britain was (barely) won by the English because the RAF had some bases out of range of the German medium-range bombers. There were others, and this excellent picture is a snapshot of "what could have been."

Haha, nicely done. Reminds m of the upcoming Fan-based movie "Iron Sky". I love alternate earth themes since i got in contact with GURPS. Keep up the good work.
