I really do not know what this is but found them in the woods and thought they were interesting so if any of u know please leave the name of it with me and i will correct it.

there are a lot of them where I stay in Umatilla. I am not sure what they are called but this is a very nice close up

I believe these are seed pods for a river berch tree. I have one in my back yard.
