Description
A tribute to all ... In Loving memory of 1st LT Tennyson Gates Johnson... Minnesota, he left MInn. on July 3 1943. His travels took him across the US to the many bases and training facilities. Then he was sent to England where he met many, and explored the countryside and learned to grow fond of his English comrades. When his training was finished he joined the many others and hit the beach at Normandy. He was just 28 years old when he was killed in action on July 13 1944. He is buried with his unselfish band of brothers at Coreville Sur La Mere cemetery, in France.
We will not forget you Uncle
