Description

I rendered this a while ago when I was testing how to use light sources. I should have placed the balloons (sorry can't remember who did that model!) a bit more close to the background and let them fade in the haze to give it more depth, but because of the quite long render time (11,5 hours) I lost interest a bit to do it all again. Any suggestions for making it better very welcome, and thanks for looking! And I'd like to thank you all for your encouraging comments on my last render "Foot Trails".

You've done it again my friend another masterpiece, I was only thinking the other day how I could make one of those in Bryce, and had a image in my mind not that I dabble in bryce that much. The only thing is I think it's a little heavy on the righthand side. The landscape is perfect as usual, I'll still give you a ten.

Very well done, and I'm guessing you put a terragen light source light inside each balloon (or perhaps the basket)? If you're trying for realism then perhaps darken the landscape a bit. I've flown at night many times over the last two decades and even when a full moon was present there was little detail and color from the ground.
