Absolutely gorgeous. Vaguely otherworldly, at least to me, but then I'm the sort of person who lives more in "the other world" than this one, and so I'm prone to see all sorts of things from "over there" as the case may be. I love the shapes of those flowers and their colors, they remind me of pine trees seen from a relatively high altitude, but their color, in relation to pine trees makes this...well...somewhat "not of this planet" and of course I love thinking in that direction. Maybe a story plot will come oozing out of such thoughts. This is a marvel of a photo. Really well seen and presented.

Wow. I've seen a thousand patches of fireweed. I've shot it a hundred times, and I've never seen the name of the weed so convincingly conveyed. This is brilliant! It looks like nothing else but a stand of flames, echoed by the background. Just brilliant!!!
