Hi folks! I'm continuing to monitor the progress of the construction behind the Triangle shopping center in Malmö, Sweden. See previous posts ( http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2199541 ). These are two 120 degree panoramas of the construction site looking north, taken on the dates noted in the lower left hand corners of the panoramas. In the upper panorama, the first iron rods have been placed out in the foreground. The work in the background is almost finished, from what I can understand. In the lower panorama, many layers of horizontal and vertical rods have been placed out, forming a 1 1/2 meter thick meshwork. In the distance, sheets of some kind of material are being placed over the rods. In the far background to the right, heavy trucks and equipment are resting on top of a similar layer. The thick dark area below them is the space occupied by the reinforcing rods. No concrete has been poured into the space between the rods. Whereas this is construction from the top down, I'm very mystified as to the design and construction. I'm wondering if the construction will be lowered as the ground underneath is excavated. Enjoy!
