Description

I have for the first time in over 15 years made an oil painting. Of the same motive as the one I did in acryllic , which is now exchanged to the finnished result, so you have to bare with me. Hope you will have a beautiful weekend. We have superb and warm weather the whole weekend.:) Thank you so much for viewing, comments and favs to my previous post. It is Highly appreciated :)

There are many things I really like about this picture. First off, I like it when a painting still reveals the texture of the canvas under the paint and then you went the extra step and put all sorts of impressionistic brush strokes in here; and I have a weakness for the more impressionistic forms of painting because the brush strokes and color dabs always make me think they are the "fingerprints" of the artist. And then, there is the color. WOW! It's so light and fresh. This does not seem "heavy" like some oil paintings can be. This one breathes and is alive and open. In short, it is really marvelous! You're so good at this kind of high-quality stuff!
