Description

Taken in Acadia National Park...such a lovely day. Not the best lighting, but you can't be everywhere at the magic light time.

I don't dislike the lighting at all. I always think that, especially for a pristine natural environment like this, the lighting at the time 'is what it is'. I love all the variations in light, and to me this is no exception. Great photo.

Lovely! When I saw the thumbnail and thumbnail only, the water looked like it rested in a crater, which of course drew me in immediately. There's something about craters and me. I'm weird like that. Full view was even more magical as I saw so many more details; I especially love the sky and the clouds and the interplay of all of the natural colors. This is such a living, breathing shot. Really super!
