The word is a learned formation of a Greek compound, consisting of (nóstos), meaning "returning home", a Homeric word, and (álgos), meaning "pain, ache". It was described as a medical condition, a form of melancholy, in the Early Modern period, and came to be an important topic in Romanticism. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek. This is incredible. I look at shots like these and start thinking typically weird thoughts. Those were the days, indeed, and from the looks of this beauty, I'd imageine that they were the days when futurists (not yet in existence, really) theorized that spaceships would have running boards! Why, I don't know, but yeah, back in the "Golden Age" of science fiction, spacecraft were supposed to look a lot like the automotive contrivances of the day. I have to say I'd rather see this than a spaceship shaped like it: there's nothing better than the original, and you've done marvelous work with this one! I love the colors and the really sensual texture/shape. This is amazing!
