on my way to work, I stop on the bridge to see what the river is doing, besides flowing, that is.
today I was very fortunate to see this beautiful goose swimming alone. I got a series of shots

I'm thinking he flew west from Kansas City..... Stop at any body of water around KC, and you'll see crowds of these guys! We've got Canada Geese coming out our eyeballs here! LOL! He's probably enjoying a vacation away from the crowds! :-D Nice capture, Mike! I think your 'drive' to work is considerably more relaxing than mine!

The Chicago area is full of these guys (and gals) and most of 'em are mean...really gorgeous and graceful but mean! I find it rather hilarious, actually. This is a gorgeous, serene shot and that lone goose looks incredibly perfect. Really good stuff.
