Astronaut/Senator John Glenn & baseball great Ted Williams were wingmen, in this great jet, in Korea. The story that John Glenn tells, is that Teddy was hit and wouldn't eject. Glenn ordered him to bale, followed him to safety and on the ground reamed Williams for not bailing. William’s explanation was that if he had ejected - he would have broken both legs. Williams had much longer legs than Glenn. Super POV. Dana
