Now, I see I have missed to see many amazing creations in this fabulous gallery where colors explode like magnificent supernova. This particular image reminds me of the theme that is deep in my heart-Constantinople. The title reminds me on the slow decay the city undergone during the last 3 centuries of its existence and before it fell down in 1453. There, on the left, I can see the Galata tower and there, behind, maybe it is St. Sophia. Anyway and apart from your idea of 'The Slow Decay' this image calls memories of one of the greatest cities in the world ever. So, apart from the theme of Constantinople I already described in three images in my gallery, now, inspired by 'The Slow Decay', I intend to post the fourth version of the city.

This is absolutely stunning. Once in a while an image comes along that I would love to have on my wall at home. The only problem is I don’t have the space anymore to hang it. This is one of those images. Very well done.
