Description

Two years ago, my sister gave me the "children" of an old man cactus (it had more than 30 years) that has never bloomed! Days ago, I realized that one of them had a little gem, I thought it was just a protuberance of the same cactus, but, incredibly, it was a flower! Here it is in its full beauty! :) I'm back with the comments... I hope to do so as soon as possible. I wish you all a happy weekend! Thanks for looking and for previous comments and fav!

The cliche of patience being a virtue is indeed true :) How simply wonderful. The light pink edges are so beautiful, and add such a unique richness to this pretty flower. Love the set-up as well!

It looks like a little ballerinas dress with a pale-pink petticoat, sometimes it's just patience - that's needed - you did well, BB

Fantastic capture and motif, Maria. There are something mythological about a cactus. This one is so beautiful, that you want to touch it. But it can be painful to touch it :) I like the way you arranged it, with little stones in the soil. A little piece of artwork, by itself. I have always had success with catcus'. They only need very little water :)+5
