My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nothing better than watching waves crash on the rocks, perfect.

That rock looks volcanic in origin. Those crashing waves look supremely fantastic. Together, they work perfectly. This reminds me of the myth of Papa and Rangi, only with water and land rather than land and sky. They were lovers, you know, and the reason we got mountains is because the land wanted to touch the sky. I see this and I think that the land is somewhat of a filanderer and has since fallen in love with the sea and she can't keep her hands off of that nicely rugged stone. Well, that's just me, after 4 out of six Czech beers on the first really nicely warm night in Chicago, I'm surprised I'm making any sense. Or maybe I am, in a Pavl-sort of way.
