That rock looks volcanic in origin. Those crashing waves look supremely fantastic. Together, they work perfectly. This reminds me of the myth of Papa and Rangi, only with water and land rather than land and sky. They were lovers, you know, and the reason we got mountains is because the land wanted to touch the sky. I see this and I think that the land is somewhat of a filanderer and has since fallen in love with the sea and she can't keep her hands off of that nicely rugged stone. Well, that's just me, after 4 out of six Czech beers on the first really nicely warm night in Chicago, I'm surprised I'm making any sense. Or maybe I am, in a Pavl-sort of way.
