Description

On my third day in NYC, we went to South Street Seaport and to the Brooklyn Bridge. It has become a sort of ritual for me to cross the bridge when I go to New York. Rituals sometimes go better than others, and the day was overcast and the bridge bandaged in white tarps. But this was still the Brooklyn Bridge and the magic was there. The history in the stones, the people, the views of the city. This image was taken near the Manhattan end of the bridge. On the left are buildings of Pace University. I have been very busy since coming back and am slowly catching up on comments. I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday by images, emails, and comments. It was very much appreciated. Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs.
