a snail has found its resting area on a plant ;it's a "ferula",quite common in Sardinia

WOW! A snail with racing stripes! Marvelous. I wish we had these beauties in Chicago, but then that might be something of an ecological disaster since things native to Chicago are easily displaced by imported species. Oh well...at least I get to enjoy this picture. This is really quite nice.
