"I have been accepted for a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer graphics and animation at Full Sail University." I created this render to make the announcement to my rendo friends that I am going back to school. I am 50 years old, have not been in a classroom of any type since 1978, but the more I learned about Carrara and the wonderful artwork here at Renderosity, the more I burned for knowledge. I'm sure you have seen the advertisements running on Renderosity for Full Sail University. Well, they accepted me into a Bachelors of Science program in Digital graphics and animation. It's all done on line and my classes start June 27. I am a little scared but I am more excited. Pray for the old man! Gib, I've seen these ads, too and always wondered if it was a serious advertise or just a joke..... now I'm curious. Would you please tell us all something during your study? How they work with you, if you really learn new stuff, if it's a good way of learning... and if it's too expensive ;o)) Sorry for my many questions - now I'm REALLY curious! ~Sassy~

My first step was to see if they were on the up and up. And they are way up too. Many of their grads go to Hollywood, Disney, Pixar and many grads worked the new movie THOR. The industry is booming and needing graphic artist and animators. Full Sail is in Winter Park Florida. They are well known in the graphic arts field. I have finished all the paperwork, I got grants and a small loan to cover tuition which is $54,000 over a 2.5 year period. With your classes comes a Mac loaded with all the programs, tolls and items needed for my classes. They tell me 20 hours a week is an average amount of time needed for your class work. I'm so excited, I'm sure I'm leaving a bunch out. Look them up at fullsail.edu
