Description
It is not easy to paint landscapes this time of the year, because everything is green in green. Much more easy in late july and August and later. But I had to try, as I liked the bridge. I took a shot of the bridge same day as I captured the big clematis and the old barn. Later I will share the Photo. Better show you the painting first LOL ! I changed a little the composition, as the bridge was totally in the middle of the capture and that was a mistake I think. So here it is moved a bit to the right. I used watercolor for this.

This afternoon, we will have a huge thunderstorm and I feel so sorry for our dog Magnus, because he is just terrified, when we have thunderstorm. and they promised cloudburst too. Then we will se if there is any plants or salad in the garden after that. I dont like thunder either. I am worried about our home.

Helle, you did such a wonderful job on this painting. I know it is difficult with all of the green involved but you certainly brought this scene to life perfectly here. Sorry about Magnus, hope the storms pass soon

What a lovely painting! The greens of spring are beautiful, although I know what you mean about being difficult to show! I love the water and the reflection of something pink ... maybe a flowering tree? ... from above. Gorgeous work!

I like thunder, though I don't like to be under a tornado watch or warning. It's very hard when it frightens pets too. Wonderful painting. You did a beautiful job adding variety to the greens. I like the rounded ground leading up to the road on the right and the blowing grasses on the other side of the water. I like the pink and the green reflected in the water, and the shaded area under the bridge. Peaceful scene and beautiful painting.
