Miria was ecstatic. It was a great honor to be chosen to call the snow for the Winter Solstice celebration. It was her first official task after completing her training and she was filled with joy as she'd made her way out to the grove for the casting. As an ice mage, the cold didn't bother her in the slightest despite the skin bared by her Solstice outfit. Her joy only grew as she took her position and began to gather her energy and sing the lyrical spell. It almost sounded like winter wind made into music and she smiled and swayed as the power flowed. ********************* Just a little snippet as I'm inclined to do on occasion. The character doesn't belong to anything in particular. As usual, I had to fight the machine for this one. I had a massive issue where the original pose file was eaten in a crash after 23+ hours trying to render the original effects layer I had for it. Luckily, I had already rendered the main figure with her spell lights. Unfortunately, I had no idea what the light settings had been for the background. I simply rendered it with the standard lights and adjusted things so it would integrate with the figure better. I also added the spell effects, snow and frosted ground by hand.
