this is a very powerful image Simon.. having her face in shadow is brilliant... you are the shadow master after all. a small critical comment... the birds don't work...cg birds just do not have the delicate feather positions, the flight vary rarely looks real. if this was left with just a negative space above her it would have still worked beautifully. Or maybe a little motion blur added to the wings in postwork I always feel a little out of place telling one of the best that I have critical comment for them. especially as I am a fan of your art cheers Carl

Extremely effective, the use of light and shadow is striking, incredibly visual and evokes an emotional response to view it. It takes my breath. Great composition through out the piece. Love this one!
