Description

First one of the promised Arwen/Aragorn LOTR pastiche series. Starting off with a little cliché romantic mood, here we have them on a bridge in a Rivendell-like valley. Isn't that original:) Don't worry too much, it's going to be more interesting... The place here is actually in connection with Arwen's & co summer residence, but most of the others are on a trip. So...more or less home alone...

A perfect cmposition. The soft light and shadows captivates the mood admirably. Pastiche is no longer a valid word in a post-modern world, besides all great art is close to kitsch. A true master is not afraid of the fine line because he never cross it. The lower detail illustrates the difficulty with the painting of close-up human portraits. Her expressionis not convincing! But we need to go on and solve this problem.

i think you're getting much better at hair and skin materials. and your posing is steadily improving as well, though it was always very good. the material on Arwen's dress is absolutely exquisite. i think you're progressing by leaps and bounds.
