Description
In late spring the rivers and sloughs run high with snow melt and rain water. The sloughs tend to flood and the trees lean heavily, threatening to slide right down the slopes into the water. I spied these ducks perched on a downed limb, looking quite at home as the water slipped by unnoticed. I recreated the scene in Vue since I didn't have my camera at the time.
