Here is my last shot of this setting sun over Okanagan Lake. I love the open water in this shot.

A lovely 'lakescape', Selina. The stillness in the air, the slow, silent waiting for the sun to go down, and night to cloak the land, is a favourite time of day of mine, although usually I don't have my camera handy to take advantage of the opportunity. I could say that we've only got one Lake in Scotland. This is due to a Dutch mapmaker's inability to read Scots. All the rest are lochs, of course, even if we don't have as many as your huge country has. Thanks for all the photos you have posted. They give others an idea of life elsewhere in the world, and confirm that we are all 'Jock Tamson's bairns' - the Scottish expression that we are all brothers and sisters, children and heirs of the One Creator.
