To those who also know her under her pseudonym: "durleybeachbum", know that today is her Birthday-Anniversary !
A real Gemini-Gem, by that I mean - she is the most ardent and loyal followers of everything that is photography, with an amazing portfolio of her own and a great sense of humour to match her collections, of the most weird & wonderful things.
Nobody can match her artistry and flair for everything living (insects, flowers etc.) and everything dead (padlocks,empty perfume bottles etc.)
But her own skills with the pen and brush are also legendary - just think of her 'Calendar Fly' series !

I want to wish you everything, you wish for yourself Andrea and here is my present for you,
as we don't have many flowers here in our Winter, I like to share with you a collage of my Zygo Cactus presently in brilliant flower, enjoy it!

Gosh! (BLUSHES!) So kind of you, Brigitte, Thankyou so much! These epiphyllums flower around Christmas for us here. Great pics and I particularly like the second one down on the left, it's a colour I've not seen before and so pretty!

A wonderful collage for Andrea and the captures are really beautiful. It is such a pretty plant which comes in some lovely colours. I used to have the pink one but after about 5 years hanging under a tree it got frosted with a very hard frost worse luck.
