One thing all cats have in common, whether they are a cute little house cat or a full grown tiger or lion, and everything in between, is they all have an inate ability to enjoy sleeping in a nice warm sunspot. Cats take napping very seriously. :) Great capture Kim.

Laying down for his afernoon nap, soaking up the sun rays, how cute. What a wonderful capture of this Bobcat,he looks so comfortable. He really blends in with his surroundings. Our cats like to think that they are hiding too. Great job Kim.

These are truly amazing with beauty. About 5-6 years ago we had one of these come into our front yard started hunting and he did find a mouse for his dinner but it wasn't such a great sound to hear him eat it. The next day we noticed him limping and I called these people and told them about him but by the time they got to our house he had limped off into the woods and we never saw him again. :( This is a most excellent capture of one being safe. :)))) Thank you for sharing all the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))

Okay Kim! Where do I sign up for one these afternoons? I think I'm ready for one right about... now! :) This is a splendid capture of this bobcat, particularly in this setting.......... almost camouflaged...that is certainly really cool! It's amazing how you've got him with his eyes closed... he really is enjoying some of that sun.... perhaps playing hooky.. :)

Awwww Such a big kitty! I think he is just resting up for the next fight, enlarged image reveals a scarred nose and notched ear! Lovely image, almost makes him look pet-able! Many years ago when we lived in a house above a hollow where a bobcat (male) had his home, (So scary to hear him yelling for a mate in the spring! Sounded like a woman screaming as he prowled the hill.)I had a midnight occasion of shoo-ing one from "visiting" with 3 of my cats (2 toms and 1 female) on the front porch. I think he ran because it was ONLY at that point he felt outnumbered...
