My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

What a fantastic POV, my Friend! I really like how you've managed to bring this desert to life and capture every single detail and living thing with such precision. Sensational lighting! A remarkable image, and a beautiful dedication to a wonderful artist!

Outstanding. I see the creosote bush and painted grass heads... the prickly pear, the rugged and the gentle... Marvelous shot and thank you so much!

I love diversity and whenever a cactus is involved, you can bet there's a ton of diversity. They're such wonderful plants: until you get too close to one and it does that prickly cactus thing. I love the light in this and the various details that intermingle and wiggle around the rich and varied colors. Great light/shadow dance too. All in all, this is perfect and a perfect dedication too! This rocks!

This has a delightful 'layerd' look - I love how everything seems to exist in its own little 'territory' in this shot. A super capture, my dear friend, and a great dedication to PJ. Happy Birthday, PJ! :-D
