Description
This was captured on a rest stop in Afton on the way to Salt Lake City. The arch is made up of elk antlers collected from the surrounding hillsides.
There are more of these in the town centre of Jackson Hole.
Two of you have asked what 'Yield when occupied' means and I take it to mean that traffic has to stop if pedestrians are standing in the central reservation!!

Fantastic and stunning capture, Jeff. I'm asking myself, is this a real eagle on the right, going on its nest?

Amazing capture and a great photo to zoom in on. I hope you have a shot of you standing in front of that grizzle bear. You have the proper interpretation of that sign. “Pedestrians Have the Right Away” is a common sign in the US – especially at busy crosswalks. Dana

Great image, full of interesting details. There seem to be a lot of animals hanging out at the gallery. Peculiar, but interesting arch. Are the little square things lights? It's wonderful that the snow covered mountains can be seen behind the buildings. It give it a very 'old western town, with one street only' sort of look. I love finding peculiar signs when you travel. In Ireland we saw "Traffic calming ahead" signs, which were very strange to us.
