Description

The building on the left is the 'White Lady', a building that used to belong to Philips industries and survived two bombings in WOII. Now there's the design academy, some shops and the cities major public library. The square on the right (at the end where you see the light on the bottom is called 'Lichtplein' wich means square of light. The steel construction comes from the parking garage that's underneath the square and I just loved the way the light fell through that steel and mixed up with the refections from the direct sunlight on the White Lady... Good day all, Thom

I agree! The light and shadows are fascinating and wonderful to see. I like the simple colors ... only cream and brown with purple. Outstanding image!

wonderful lines here, and the shadow/light play is excellent. The simplicity of the colors is wonderful too, allowing the eye to be more concerned with the lines of the White Lady and the fence and the light and shadows. Wonderful capture.
