Description

This is a random photo with the camera over a rock at night. Then boosted the colors a little more blue. A strange photo but I like it. Thank you very much for watching and all your comments are very welcome :)

Random shots are always the best, especially when there's no actual subject until after the photo is taken, and this is proof of that. I love the abstract quality of this. It's very dreamy, and as I'm listening to brooding, moody music at the time that I make this comment, I have to say that this is one of those photos that lends itself quite well to music composed by someone intimately familiar with the Carpathian mountains (I'm listening to music by the Polish composer Wojciech Kilar.) I love the fact that I'm not entirely certain of what I'm looking at: I have a few ideas, but each time I look back at the photo, it changes...am I seeing water? Am I seeing vapor? Have I accidentally started scrying and am, therefore, reading omens in a waft of steam from a cup of very blue tea? It doesn't really matter because this image opens up so many possibilities, many of which possess the potential for very creative endeavors. There are stories in this image, and I also love the faint echo of cloud patterns defining distant worlds like Neptune. This is an amazing, evocative piece of work. I like it immensely!
