Description
The Lagoon nebula (M8)(upper center) is the larger nebula and the smaller nebula is the Trifid nebula(M20)(upper left). Thanks for viewing!

Nicely done. Have you considered trying to stack exposures using a red/green/blue filter combo?

WOW! You make me want to buy a NEW telescope and go looking for my old friends again. This is superbly done and I'm curious as well as to what you'd pull off stacking red/blue/green filtered exposures...Astrophotography's not something I've managed, as yet, but this is quite an inspiring bit of work as good as, if not better than, the stuff featured in Astronomy Magazine. Nice.
