Description

While on my hike yesterday I came across a spot that was wet mud. I noticed this bear's paw print. it is a little over 6" across. My hand fit easily inside it with plenty of space to spare. It was also made just minutes before I came along so it was now time to be vigilant. I'm sure he was somewhere just out of sight watching me but I never did get to see him. From the size of the print he would be a juvenille maybe 2 or 3 years old at most. That is still plenty big enough to be serious trouble if you were to upset him. Jim

I seen on the net that a car struck a bear in Canada causing the bear to become airborne and going through the windshield of an on coming car killing the driver and passenger. probably the first time for a flying bear to kill two people at once the trouble with bears is they can follow you up a tree and more quicker than humans
