Nice to know that someone else was doing the same thing! A couple of days ago we had so much rain I went to my mums garden and got pictures of the same snail! Great macro, your shots are much closer than mine, I love seeing how someone else can make a picture look of the same subject. Awesome work, love the almost desaturation of the colour- thanks for sharing! :-)

It looks like the edible snails we have here too. and i read that they mostly eat rotting and dying plants. Hope it is true, because we have really many. Beautiful closeup. I wouldnt dream of killing them.
