Description

This piece was conceived from a story written by Sandra M. Odell for Scape Magazine's second issue, scheduled for publication real soon. I enjoyed it so much, I added it to my ImageKind gallery (http://aidanawillowraven.imagekind.com/WillowRaven). I can't share the whole story, but this is the scene it's from: ... Only after securing the cellar door from within did Johnny-J follow Friedrick down the rabbit hole. Wattle and daub fortified the walls of the room at the bottom, as long as the shack was wide, and as wide as three men lying head to toe. Wooden shelves crafted with love rather than skill overflowed with contraband: thick or thin; paper, cardboard, or scuffed leather covers; fact or fiction. A sanctuary of the printed word. ... Of course, your going to have to wait for the issue to read the whole thing ... lol. Am I cruel, or what? Let me know what you think.

Thanks, rbowen. I see you work in Daz, too, sometimes. I think my favorite of yours is 'Visitors', but it's hard to pick.

Thanks, lior. I try to incorporate my fine art base to my renders. I prefer the 'looks like a painting' look over the 'looks like a photograph' look, though I admire the dedication it takes to make a render look like a photo. I'm too lazy for all that ... lol.

Great image, you can tell by the expressions and body language that this is an intense lesson, and teaching! Great shot- thanks for sharing! :-)

Thank you, adrie. The lighting was the hardest part, but I think I figured it out. Thanks to a few Daz tutorials and forum studies. You have such beautiful work. The fact that you like mine is a huge compliment.
