Description
For those who are not residents of Washington, especially on the west side of the Cascades, Summer doesn't officially arrive until AFTER July 5th and sometimes later than that.
Hence, the rare sunsets with actual sunlight is a joy for us to behold.

You guys don't have sunsets with sunlight? Weird. I live in the sunshine state and we almost always have a proper sunset. Nice picture though.

A wonderful photographic scene, Mike! I can relate to cloud filled time frames, having spent most of my youth living in North Dakota, where sometimes in the winter months, the sun wouldn't shine for months at a time. Thanks for sharing this one with us! Most appreciated!!!

Great capture, now that you mention Washington, President Obama was visiting Puerto Rico this past Tuesday, can you believe that he came to collect money for his campaign and we can't even vote for him, is this right? The only interesting thing that came out of it was that he told Puertorricans in Spanish! no less to decide to be a State already...
