Description

Christchurch has been munted again. To quote a US geophysist who's here for the action: 'New faults...opening up from the new faults that were opened up in October and February.' The two quakes of yesterday are considered to be new 'events', rather than aftershocks from the earlier ones. Only one person dead, and some injuries. Not much left in the way of buildings in the city and some subuobs. So it's all over again. One step forward and two back. The good news pieces are that everybody knows what to do, and it seems the Alpine fault is holding. It would be a bugger if that went up. But it's not going to happen soon.

Wonderful fractal. When I heard about yet another quake in Christchurch yesterday i was wondering if you and Nancy were OK. It must be disheartening, to have to deal yet again with this. It does sound like a smaller even than last time, but that does not make it much easier to deal with.

Your fractal is beautiful. I see lots of rocks, they roll down. But the bad news, it grieves me, to hear that. When do things right, and normal, do you! I feel involved with the people who have to sit in fear, and literally shaking. Lots of love, and we wish you strength, my dear friend.

The Domino effect, one goes they all go. Makes one wonder if there is a Key fault along the Pacific Rim that when it lets go the Face of our Planet will change again, forever. Peace

Nice image. The people of Christchurch are really poor, all my thinkings and prayers go to them.
