Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop
Figure is Michael3 base with Major Cache bodysuit,holster and pistol and Hardcore boots(all from Daz3D).Black Widow also from Daz(both models posed in DazStudio).Terrain and lattices are all custom creations,textured in a modified Seriously Real desert material.Sky,light and atmo are all custom...the clouds are a combination of Cumulus and Stratus layers created in the DTE.Sun and cast shadows were disabled in the IBL Lab,sky used as IBL,and then sun enabled again.A radial light placed in the distance in line with the sun adds extra light to the scene.Rendered in default Superfine setting(9 hours).Postwork in Photoshop involved a levels adjustment and layers of webs using free brushes from Obsidian Dawn at QBrushes.com,as well as signature and resizing.Thanks for viewing,and for any comments you wish to leave!

Don't step back! I'm so glad we don't live in the Age of Invertebrates - fossils of 2 metre scorpions have been found, but no spiders quite this big...

Really dramatic use of light on this one. Nicely balanced composition as well. Fine work.

Very nice! I look the work you've done with the sky and lighting. Except maybe the webs added in post don't integrate that well with the lighting of the scene.

Nevertheless, I rather like those webs in the foreground. It adds to the scene.

Very nice image. Very reminiscent of Retro sci-fi movies of the 50's and 60's. I think the image came together wonderfully. I've never used the Daz Black Wido as I never liked it's look, but this is a fantastic image using it.
