Description
Tennessee is said to have passed new bill that one can be sued/go to jail for posting a picture online that offends or intimidates someone
I guess I better not go back to the beautiful state, since I always tend to offend people
any way she is always posting beautiful barns for us.
I took this in rural Oklahoma
thanks for watching and be offended if you will, but I hope not

Awesome capture Richard!!! We have many many old relics like this around here. I think such a law is terribly doomed to fail the first challange it comes against. There are already laws in place to protect people, often they are not enforced, but that makes more sense to do than create a new and undefendable law.

Well I live here and I hadn't heard of the new law, tells you how much attention I pay to laws or politicians for that matter, but I will read it and then make a picket sign lol.. I was in Alabama two weekends ago with another Renderosity friend and we were at the Riverchase Mall taking photos of an old carousel and we were told we could not take photos in the mall. bunch of bs in my opinion this is still the United States is it not.. That got me mad that day, the next day after I got back home I made some calls to malls in my area and asked their policy and they said they have any rules against gameras or photos. I noticed someone posted the link to the law' so I am off to read it. Thanks Richard for posting this for me, and for thinking of me. I had to laugh at the wheres Laura Ingalls comment, it does remind me a bit of their little home on the prairie but they didn't have a tin roof. :)

I've gotta read up on this law...I mean, what's defined as "offensive." Does this mean that if I live in Tennessee I could sue a person for posting a picture of a dog in the ugliest sweater on Earth? I'm sure that someone somewhere is repulsed by the very idea of doggie sweaters and if that someone happens to live in Tennessee, then this is their chance to eradicate those eyesores, at least from the internet. Or not. But anyway, enough about the extreme weirdness that occupies that big spot between Mexico and Canada. I like this shot a lot and it reminds me of some of the things I've seen in Southern Illinois, only without...well...without Southern Illinois looking as flat as a mind-numbingly monotonous as...a pool table with delusions of becoming a field-interrupted shopping mall. I like this view a lot better! It's a marvelous piece of work and a great dedication.
